“the height of the stars”

The secular world believes that the earth spins on its axis daily. Instead, the firmament revolves around the earth daily. The sun, moon and stars are enclosed in the firmament and they each have their own individual orbit inside the moving firmament. The firmament also oscillates up and down yearly causing summer and winter.

 

SUN

“From the rising of the sun unto the going down of the same” (Psalms 113:3) 

“The mighty God, even the Lord, hath spoken, and called the earth from the rising of the sun unto the going down thereof” (Ps. 50:1)

“And when the sun was going down” (Gen.15:12)

“where the sun goeth down” (Deut. 11:30 and Deut.24:13)

“and the sun went down” (Judges 19:14)

“the sun went down” (2 Samuel 2:24)

 

“of the morning, when the sun riseth” (2 Samuel 23:4)

“about the going down of the sun” (1 Kings 22:36)

“The sun also riseth, and the sun goeth down, and hasteth to his place where he arose.” (Ecclesiates 1:5)

“when the sun ariseth” (Nahum 3:17)

“from the rising of the sun” (Malachi 1:11)

“his glory from the rising of the sun” (Isaiah 59:19)

“and the sun shall go down” (Micah 3:6)

 There is no other subject in the entire Bible where there is this much information, that is not literally true. “Which things are an allegory; for these are the two covenants” (Galatians 4:24) Allegory means figurative. The conflict between Abraham’s two wives was a spiritual allegory, depicting the conflict between law and grace, but it is still real history. “the figures of the true” (Hebrews 9:24). Even if

 

these verses are labeled ‘figurative’ they are still true. The sun orbits the earth daily. These geocentric verses are real, literal, accurate history. If the earth were spinning on its axis daily; the Lord would have a verse reading: ‘the turning of the earth’ However, there is no such scripture and never will be. It would be the opposite of the truth. 1 Timothy 6:20 says, “oppositions of science falsely so called.”

 

DELIGHT -  Psalms 119:

 

      The fourth day of creation repudiates any notion of heliocentricity. Since time had previously been determined by the movement of light around the earth, hermeneutics demands that time still be determined by the movement of light, whatever its source, around the earth. Scripture is openly geocentric.

 

DECEIT

2 Corinthians 4:2 says, “…nor handling the word of God deceitfully”; to manipulate. Calling “when the sun ariseth” (Nahum 3:17), phenomenological, is to manipulate. If the earth really was revolving daily, the Lord could easily have inspired the scriptures to say: ‘The earth is turned daily’ or ‘the turning of the earth’.

 

Compare: “He…rising early in the morning” (Proverbs 27:14) to “rising of the sun” (Malachi 1:11). There is movement in Proverbs, but not in Malachi. No wonder the world ignores the church; same word, but different actions. 

 

The problem: Light travels at 186,000 miles per second. This speed times the number of seconds in a year is one light year. If the distance to the stars is millions of light years, the earth must be millions of years old to allow time for light to reach the earth. Creationist rectify the problem by saying that light traveled the distance from the stars to the earth millions of times faster than the speed of light and then it slowed down to the present speed. Or perhaps, time ran extremely slow in outer space which would allow time for light to travel from the stars to the earth at the present speed. Finally, they proposed that God created starlight intransit between heaven and earth. However, this charges God with deception and that is not the character of God. Creationists are not happy with any of these answers!

 

The answer: The universe is relatively small compared to conventional thinking. This statement does not diminish in the least the power of God, but instead magnifies His Word. The stars are not millions of light years in outer space. Bible scholars have inadvertently overlooked a few verses that tell us about the size of the universe. This is easy to do considering that there are over 31,000 verses in the Bible.

“The heaven for height and the earth for depth” (Proverbs 25:3). This verse alone tells us that the earth is in the center of the universe. How do we know for sure? Psalms 71: 20 says, “from the depths of the earth.” As the “depths” are in the center of the earth, so also is the earth in the center of the universe.

 

Is it possible to know this distance to the stars? We need to know the distance to the stars to fully, completely defend God’s word. Philippians 4:19 says, “my God shall supply all your need” But scripture also says, “Thus saith the LORD; If heaven

above can be measured…I will also cast off all the seed of Israel for all that they have done” (Jeremiah 31:37). God will never do this, so the heavens cannot be measured. But ‘can be measured’, is an anomaly meaning an accurate measurement. Ezekiel 40:3 says, “… with a line of flax in his hand, and a measuring reed.” Distances can be measured either by “flax” or by “a measuring reed.” Flax will stretch for an approximate measurement of long distances whereas the reed was stiff for accurate measurement of short distances on the earth. This means the heavens can be measured aapproximately. The actual distance is known only by the Lord.

 

All commentaries have skipped over: “His (the sun) going forth is from the end of the heaven, and his circuit unto the ends of it: and there is nothing hid from the heat thereof.” (Psalms 19:6) The surface temperature of the sun is 5800 degrees. By the time the sun’s heat reaches the earth, it is down to only 100 degrees. The sun is 93 million miles from the earth. Going on past the earth away from the sun perhaps another 100,000 to 800,000 miles, the heat of the sun would be zero.

This means that the sun’s heat extending outward toward the end of the universe would only reach about 94 million miles making a total of 187 million miles from

the earth. Job 38:24 says “By what way is the light parted” (diffused). When light encounters “the stones of darkness (Job 28:3) it breaks up into different directions and ceases to exist. The stones act as a boundary. Job 17:12 says, "the light is short

because of darkness." This limits the size of the universe. “He setteth an end to 

 

darkness” (Job 28:3). The end of darkness is at the same place as the stones.

All Bible commentaries have “…the Sun of righteousness arise” (Malachi 4:2). The physical sun is not righteous. It is not morally good or bad. And the word “arise” is ignored! So what is this saying? “…one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.” (Matthew 5:18) Every “jot” means every single letter. All churches have failed to apply this verse to Malachi. They believe the letter “u” in Sun really means the letter “o” for Son, referring to Jesus. However, it is written exactly the way the Lord wants it written. God is pointing out to us that if the Sun

doesn’t really rise and revolve around the earth daily, then the Son (Jesus) hasn’t risen from the grave and we are still in our sins and lost for eternity. This is extremely serious.

 

Science claims that the sun could not orbit the earth daily because the earth has very little gravity compared to the huge amount of gravity that the sun has. Scientist are: “measuring themselves by themselves, and comparing themselves among themselves, are not wise.” (2 Cor.10:12). Daniel 11:38 says, “the God of forces” This force nullifies the force of gravity. “Many, O Lord my God, are thy wonderful works…they are more than can be numbered” (Psalms 40:5). “Which doeth…marvelous things without number.” This force has overcome the force of gravity. Habakkuk 3:4 says, “…and there was the hiding of his power.” The only way we can know of this power is through scripture. Science cannot detect it with any instrument. Scripture trumps science. Many people still believe science instead of scripture on this particular subject. What will be the final result of this belief? “They who observe lying vanities forsake their own mercy” (Jonah 2:8).

 

TRUST

“Trust ye not in lying words” (Jeremiah 7:4). God has taught us the truth that the sun goes around a stationary earth. 2 Corinthians 1:9 says, “that we should not trust in ourselves, but in God” You cannot trust yourself or the world. Psalms 146:3 says, “Put not your trust in princes” (people that will not consider scripture). Psalms 62:9 says, “…men of high degree are a lie: to be laid in the balance, they are altogether lighter than vanity.” Scientist have spent too much time looking through a telescope and not enough time looking at scriptures.

 

LIE                                                         

Hebrews 6:17, 18 says, ”God…to shew…the immutablilty (not subject to change) of his counsel…it was impossible for God to lie.” God cannot lie and neither can His word, scripture, which He has inspired. 2 Thessalonians 2:11 says, “And for this

cause God shall send them strong delusion (from science) that they should believe a lie:” Why would God want to cause people to believe a lie? It is because they refuse to believe His word in scripture: “And when the sun was going down” (Gen.15:12); the sun is orbiting the earth daily. The only thing left is the earth spinning on its axis daily.

 

Jeremiah 44:28 says, “shall know whose words will stand, Mine or theirs” God or scientist! At the present time, science overrules the word of God.

 

Ecclesiastes 8:4 says, “Where the word of a king is, there is power” this refers to an

earthly king, King James of England. The King James Bible is connected with an

earthly king. It was translated under the auspices of an earthly king, which gives it more power than other versions. If the verse said “the king” it would refer to Christ, but it doesn’t. Ecclesiastes12:10 says, “The preacher sought to find out acceptable

words, and that which was written was upright, even words of truth.” The very words we read are absolutely true. Written scripture overrides science.

 

SIZE

“Hast thou commanded the morning since thy days; and caused the dayspring to know his place. That it might take hold of the ends of the earth, that the wicked might be shaken out of it? It is turned as clay to the seal; and they stand as a garment.” (Job 38:12-14). The “it” (vs. 13) refers to the dayspring or morning or the sun. “It” in vs. 14 might appear to refer to the earth. First we need to see how the words ‘seal’ and ‘clay’ is used elsewhere. Esther 8:8 says, “Write ye also for the Jews, as it liketh you, in the king’s name, and seal it with the king’s ring: for the writing which is written in the king’s name, and sealed with the king’s ring, may no man reverse.” When you write your hand and fingers move. The seal on the king’s ring on the king’s finger is moving. Every morning the seal makes an impression on the stationary clay. How do we know the clay is stationary? 1 Kings 7:46 says, “In the plain of Jordan did the king cast them, in the clay ground” The ground does not move and the clay is in the ground. 2 Chronicles 4:17 also says, “the clay ground” So, the earth does not turn. The sun revolves around the earth daily.

 

Psalms73:9 says, “They (the wicked, vs.3) set their mouth against the heavens”

Secular scientist proclaim the heavens are not geocentric. God’s word knew in

 advance that secular astronomers would be against geocentricity. Galatians 1:8 says, “But though we, or an angle from heaven preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed.”

 

TWICE

Genesis 1:7 says, “And God made the firmament, and divided the waters under the firmament from the waters which were above the firmament”

Scripture always says everything twice such as: “Bless the Lord, O my soul” (Psalms 103:1) and “Bless the Lord, O my soul” (Psalms 103:2). In the same manner, scripture always does the same thing twice such as: “For as Jonas was three days and three nights in the whale's belly; so shall the Son of man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth.” (Matt 12:40).

This indicates that there are other events that happen twice: Psalms 104:6, 9 says, “Thou coveredst it (the earth) with the deep as with garment: the waters stood above the mountains. “Thou hast set a bound that they may not pass over; that they turn not again to cover the earth.” Noah’s world wide flood can never occur again. As the waters below the firmament on the earth were bound, so also the waters above the firmament are also bound and are limited to a certain place. Job 38:8 says, “Or who shut up the sea with doors” “and set bars and doors.” (vs 10). Job 38:19, 20 says, “and as for darkness, where is the place thereof. That thou shouldest take it to the bound thereof”

 Creationist claim that “the rising of the sun” (Malachi 1:11) really means ‘the rotation of the earth.’ The Lord Jesus Christ always took the scriptures literally and so should we. Literal means true to the fact. James 1:17 says, “…Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning.” Variable means: assume any one of a set of values. “No variableness” means the opposite. We cannot tell the

 Lord what he meant to say. We cannot assume that verse 11 means, the turning of the earth. Scripture is correct; the sun rises over the earth daily. Daniel 10:21 says, “scripture of truth.” Whatever the King James Bible says is the actual truth. Titus 1:2 says, “which God, that cannot lie.” Scripture is God in written form.

 

“let God be true, but every man a liar” (Rom 3:4). Let scripture be true, but every secular

scientist a liar.

 

     Duet 29:29 says, “The secret things belong unto the Lord our God: but those things which are revealed belong unto us…that we may do all the words of this law.” The Lord has revealed in scripture, absolutely all there is in deep outer space.

Stars are there, but not galaxies. The Lord would have told us about galaxies, if they existed. One person objected to this saying: the words: x-rays, telephones, cars and

 

computers are not in scripture, yet they exist. The truth is: scripture does refer to them.      x-rays – Job 37:18 says, “and as a molten looking glass”

Cars - Nahum 2:3 says, “chariots shall be with flaming torches”

 

Computers. “Blessed be the Lord…which teacheth…my fingers to fight” (Psalms 144:1). Backing this up is Job 38:35: “Canst thou send lightnings , that they may go,

and say unto thee, Here we are?” This means that the KJV is totally up to date.

 “He revealeth the deep and secret things” (Daniel 2: 22). If galaxies existed in deep outer space, the word would be revealed in scripture. Scripture is very much up to date as to what exists and what does not exist. “I will utter things which have been kept secret from the foundation of the world” (Matthew 13:35). Scientist are:

 “…measuring themselves by themselves, and comparing themselves among themselves, are not wise.” (2 Cor 10:12). Instead, we need to measure the truth by what God’s word tells us. Ecclesiastes 7:24 says, “That which is far off, and exceeding deep, who can find it out?” Scientist claim they know the distance to the

 

stars, but it is God’s word in scripture that reveals the actual true distance. Hebrews 11:3 says, “Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God” Faith in redemption without faith in creation and geocentricity and a relatively small universe is impossible in any meaningful sense.

 

FOUNDATION 

Job 38:4 says, “Where wast thou when I laid the foundations of the earth?” The earth has foundations, and the foundations are “fastened” (vs.6). The earth’s foundation is locked down tight. “Of old hast thou laid the foundation of the earth: and the heavens are the work of thy hands” (Psalms 102:25). The opposite is true of the sun. It has no

 

foundation. It is moving. The works of creation; “were finished from the foundation of the world” (Hebrews 4:3). The universe is not expanding. The universe is finite, relatively small. Only the Lord is infinite. Zechariah 12:1 says, “…the Lord, which stretcheth forth the heavens and layeth the foundation of the earth…” The earth has an immovable foundation.

 

JUDGMENT

        Is the earth really immovable? Psalms 99:1 says, “…let the earth be moved” This takes place later at the judgment. The mate verse says the same thing. “…the earth is clean dissolved, the earth is moved” Isaiah 24:19). Isaiah 13:13 says, “Therefore I will shake the heavens, and the earth shall remove out of her place, in the wrath of the Lord of hosts and in the day of his fierce anger.” This occurs in the future on judgment day. “Truth shall spring out of the earth” (Psalms 85:11).

 

 “For ever, O Lord, thy word is settled in heaven…thou hast established the earth, and it abideth.” (Psalms 119:89, 90) It is stationary. “I have seen an end of all perfection: but thy commandment is exceeding broad.” (vs.96) God’s commands are perfect. We do not have to worry about changing “the sun riseth” (2 Samuel 23:4) to: the turning of the earth.
