2 Thess.2:6, 7 says, “And now you know what withholds that he might be revealed in his time. For the mystery of iniquity does already work only he who now lets will let until he be taken out of the way.”

The “mystery of iniquity” is the theory of heliocentrism which started about 200 BC. “…even now are there many antichrists” (1 John 2:18). It is not a future event, but was already working before Paul's time. The supporting verse is: “…and this is that spirit of antichrist…and even now already is it in the world” (1 John 4:3). Every verse has another verse to explain or support it. Isaiah 34:15-16 says, “There shall the great owl make her nest…every one with her mate. Seek ye out of the book of the LORD, and read: no one of these shall fail, none shall want her mate: for my mouth it hath commanded, and his spirit it hath gathered them.” Men were promoting heliocentrism, which is against Christ and against scripture.

Iniquity means a deviation from rectitude, which means exact conformity to truth; regardless of the force of gravity, the mass of the sun or any speculations of science. This is the “strong delusion that they should believe a lie” (2 Thess. 2:11), the lie that the earth is spinning daily.

The pronoun “he” in 2 Thess. 2: 6 refers to the Anti-Christ while in verse 7 the pronoun “he” refers to the Holy Spirit who hindered the theory of heliocentrism until 1613. Then, Satan finally convinced the world with the false theory that the sun doesn't move; “for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light” (2 Cor. 11:14). It became universally accepted due to the efforts of additional antichrist: Copernicus and Galileo.

2 Thess. 2:3 says, “…for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first…” Unbelief in the doctrine of geocentricity in scripture, apostasy, overruled the Holy Spirit. Since the Holy Spirit is omnipresent, He will still be present on the earth, but his counsel against heliocentrism was rejected. This resulted in the Holy Spirit being sent up, out of the way, to heaven by scientist and the church. The truth of the gospel of geocentricty will again be preached when: “them that have preached the gospel unto you with the Holy Ghost sent down from heaven” (1 Peter 1:12). “And then shall that Wicked be revealed whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming” (2 Thess. 2:8). God's words in scripture will again be restored to their full power. The “bright and morning star” (Christ) (Rev. 22:16), will destroy heliocentrism.

Psalms 14:4 Have all the workers of iniquity no knowledge?...and call not upon the LORD. Scientist did not even for a moment, think about what scripture might say; “their thoughts are thoughts of iniquity; wasting and destruction are in their paths”

Micah 2:1 says, “Woe to them that devise iniquity…when the morning is light” They will bring judgment upon themselves and lead many others astray. “Then the Lord said unto me, The prophets prophesy lies in my name: I sent them not…they prophesy unto you a false vision” (Jeremiah 14:14). In the morning, it looks like the sun rises, but instead “the workers of iniquity” (Ps. 94:4) claim the earth spins daily.

“The just LORD is in the midst thereof; he will not do iniquity: every morning doth he bring his judgment to light” (Zeph 3:5). The rising sun every morning also testifies that the Son has indeed risen to conquer death. “The heaven shall reveal his iniquity; and the earth shall rise up against him” (Job 20:27). When the full complete truth is known, the firmament, heaven, (Gen. 1:8) carries the sun around the stationary earth daily.

Ezekiel 28:17 says, “thou hast corrupted thy wisdom by reason of thy brightness.” Satan has convinced the scientific world with the church following along, that the earth spins on its axis daily. The mass of the sun is so much greater than the mass of the earth that the sun couldn't possibly revolve around the earth. How did the scientist get the job done? “They search out inquities; they accomplish a diligent search “ (Psalms 64:6). They lied with “bitter words: That they may shoot in secret at the perfect” (vs. 3, 4). The perfect is God and the words of scripture. Psalms 64:2 says, “Hide me…from the insurrection of the workers of iniquity:” Insurrection means a rising against civil authority. It is a more extensive rising than sedition. These wicked men are working hard to overthrow the Lord.

1 Cor. 11:18, 19 says, “For first of all, when you come together in the church, I hear that there be divisions among you; and I partly believe it. For there must be also heresies among you.” Heresy means a fundamental error in religion, or an error of opinion respecting some fundamental doctrine of religion. There was a serious different over the doctrine of heliocentrism. Acts 24:14 says, “that after the way which they call heresy, so worship I the God of my fathers, believing all things which are written in the law and the prophets.” The only Bible available then was the King James. The NIV and NASV did not exist; so the apostle Paul believed in geocentricity. A book of the law says, “…thou shalt deliver it unto him by that the sun goeth down” (Exodus 22:26). A book of prophecy says, “The mighty God, even the Lord, hath spoken, and called the earth from the rising of the sun unto the going down thereof” (Psalms 50:1). Paul did have a choice.

He could have chosen heliocentrism, because the theory was known decades before his time. “Then he (Jesus) said unto them O fools, and slow of heart to believe all that the prophets have spoken” (Luke 24:25). Jesus believed in geocentricity. He knew the truth because He was “the truth” (John 14:6).

2 Timothy 3:10 says, “But thou hast fully known my doctrine” but, our churches have rejected geocentricity, and replaced it with the doctrine of compromise. “thou hast there them that hold the doctrine of Balaam” (Rev 2: 14). Jude 11 says, “Woe unto them! For they…ran greedily after the error of Balaam for reward...and perished in the gainsaying of Core.” They ran after the error of compromise with heliocentrism, and rejected God's inspired word, which is geocentric.

2 Cor. 11:3 says, “as the serpent beguiled Eve…so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ.” Beguile means to deceive or delude (led from the truth). Simplicity means freedom from abstruseness which means difficult to be comprehended or understood. It looks like the sun moves over the earth from east to west, but the secular worldview is that the earth rotates west to east daily. This is difficult to understand. Eve did not pay attention to God's exact words with disastrous results. We are doing the same thing!

We are still being beguiled even at this late. We are being swindled! We are being cheated out of a “full reward” (2 John 8). We are not talking about our salvation, but the loss of a full reward will be slightly uncomfortable. “Let no man beguile you of your reward” (Colossians 2:18).

“I counsel thee to buy of me” (Rev 3:18). When we buy something physical, we understand it and know how and where to use it. To buy scripture, we need to understand every phrase, every verse and know how it relates to it's companion verse. Isaiah 30:27 says, “Behold, the name of the Lord cometh from far…his tongue as a devouring fire.” The Lord speaks words, recorded in scripture that will burn up the false beliefs of born again, saved Christians.
