THE LESSER LIGHT
Jan. 2008
Dear Sir,
Judging by the applause of the audience in debates at universities; creationist always win against evolutionist on all subjects ranging from fossils, rock strata, bombardier beetle, mutations, forming of the grand canyon, heat of the earth, radiometric dating, flow of nickel from rivers into the ocean, receding rate of Niagara Falls, the second law of thermodynamics and etc. Then you agree with the secular evolutionists that
the stars are millions of light years away. Light from the stars cannot get to the earth in 6000 years, let alone one day. Creationists have suggested several solutions: the decreasing speed of light, time dilation in outer space and starlight created in transit. Creationists themselves are not happy with any of these solutions and admit that their biggest problem is the size of the universe. They also admit that it is a serious problem.
We “true” Christians sometimes rebuke those Christians who seem to disbelieve certain parts of the Bible. For example, creationists can't understand how someone can say they believe in Jesus, but still deny that God created everything is six literal days. We point out that such people prefer to believe scientists over God. Meanwhile, the “non-believer-in-a-literal-Genesis' says “How can some Christians be blind to scientific reality? Interpreting Genesis literally is not required to be a Christian. Why be so dogmatic over unimportant issues!
All Christians are unbelievers about something. If you asked many Christians if the earth was created before the sun, if Adam could have names all the animals in one day or if the flood covered the whole earth many more Christians would express serious doubts that such things really happened.
We do not want to appear foolish to the world by rejecting what is currently believed by scientists. At the same time, we still want acceptance from God. We figure we can accomplish this feat by believing only what is `necessary' in the Bible. Likewise, how we think about the size of the universe could be preventing us from correctly understanding all that God has said in his word. All scriptures listed are King James.
Psalms 119:70 says, “…but I delight in thy law.” How can we delight in “From the rising of the sun unto the going down of the same” (Psalms 113:3), when we know (?) that the earth spins on its axis daily? The truth is that the earth does not turn.
The simple mistake in the 16th century of abandoning geocentricity (the sun going around a stationary earth) and accepting heliocentrism (the earth spinning daily), damaged our viewpoint of the Bible. The King James Bible is openly geocentric. The stationary satellite can be explained just as easily from the geocentric viewpoint.
God said in Psalms 19:1 that “the firmament sheweth his handywork” not the earth or the universe. During creation week God didn't call the 2nd day of creation `good' during that day as he did during every other day. The Holy Spirit omitted `good' on purpose. He is telling us to study very carefully the firmament. AND this occurred before sin entered the world through Adam and Eve. This is foundational to the understanding of scripture.
The following supplies the last fact necessary to completely eliminate the theory of evolution. A RELATIVELY SMALL UNIVERSE
(Creationist and the secular world do not accept geocentricity, but God's Word does)
The drawing below condenses the size of the universe 23,250 times, from that which we hear about from the news media.
The subject of geocentricity alone shrinks the size of the universe from the heliocentric position. However, God's power is not reduced. Instead, the power of His word is greatly increased, with much more meaning. We know what that secular scientists believe the universe is large and continually getting larger, but what is God's opinion? After all, "Heaven and earth shall pass away: but my words shall not pass away" (Luke 21:33). We are going to live forever in eternity with God and His word, not the opinion of scientist.
At the end of day one, the Spirit of God, Who was covered “with light, as with a garment” (Psalms 104:2) or “prepared” (Psalms 74:16) light, was the only source of light moving in relationship to a stationary earth. This movement initiated time, making the creation of time `earth-centric. The fourth day of creation repudiates any notion of heliocentricity. Since time had previously been determined by the movement of light around the earth, hermeneutics demands that time still be determined by the movement of light, whatever its source, around the earth.
FIRE
Isaiah 14: 26, 27 says, “This is the purpose that is purposed upon the whole earth…For the Lord of hosts hath purposed, and who shall disannul it?” This means that God's dividing of fire has an application and real meaning. There is a reason God wrote there words. When looking at drawings of fire, we always see at least 2 points or tongues. The Lord created fire is this way because it applies in the heavens. Psalms 29: 7 says, “The voice of the Lord divideth the flames of fire.” "By what way is the light parted...?" (Job 38:24). One of the definitions of fire in Webster's 1828 dictionary is: one of the causes of magnetism or electromagnetism. The context of verses 3 - 9 is the earth and clouds. However, there is water (vs. 3) above the firmament (Gen. 1:7). This means that in Genesis 1:1 light or fire or electromagnetism made one revolution around the universe at a speed of 1023 times per second. The Lord God then divided light or fire into 2 parts with the second part of light revolving around the earth once daily. This second part of light is called the “prepared light”
THE RAINBOW FACTOR

Is the universe expanding? “Thus saith God the Lord, he that created the heavens, and stretched them out; he that spread forth the earth…” (Isaiah 42:5). God stretched out the heavens only during the first second of creation. “The carpenter stretched out his rule…” (Isaiah 44:13). It is not still stretching out. "It is he (God)... that stretcheth out the heavens as a curtain, and spreadeth them out as a tent to dwell in" (Isaiah 40:22). Curtains stretch but tents do not. These verses do not indicate continuous expansion as secular science teaches us. In looking at Psalms 136:6 we find, "To him that stretched out the earth." The earth was stretched out, yet has a limited size and is not expanding. As the earth is not expanding, so neither is the heavens. Whoever heard of a continually expanding tent? Scripture tells us that "...thou hadst formed the earth and the world (universe) (Psalms 90:2). God formed the earth and it is the same size as it was in the beginning. The universe, also, is the same size as it was in the beginning and it has a limit. Isaiah 40:12 says, “Who hath measured the waters in the hollow of his hand, and meted out heaven with the span…” Websters Dictionary says `mete' means to measure, but the 1828 Websters, which is a little closer to the KJ, adds `limit' to the definition.
"And I saw another mighty angel come down from heaven, clothed with a cloud; and a rainbow was upon his head, and his face was as it were the sun, and his feet as pillars of fire" (Rev. 10:1). The rainbow, being upon his head, is above his face (which represents the sun). This shows that rainbows exist beyond the sun as well as in the atmosphere.
"[God] sealeth up the stars" (Job 9:7). He didn't seal up the sun, moon. We know the distance to the sun and moon. But, only scripture can make the final decision to tell us the distance to the stars. The Lord has put a shield in front of each star and each shield has a different color of the rainbow. The shields could be thick or thin, concave or convex; making any individual star appear either closer or farther away than it is. Different color shields affect the brightness of the star behind it. Acts 20:20 says, “And how I kept back nothing that was profitable unto you…” Indeed, God has provided us with the information we need and has told us the approximate distance to the stars which completely refutes evolution.
Why did the scientists think the stars were millions of light years away? They overlooked
“for the shields of the earth belong unto God” (Psalms 47:9) and “For the Lord God is a sun and shield” (Psalm 84:11). Jeremiah 48:7 says, “For because thou hast trusted in thy works…thou shalt also be taken…into captivity with…his princes (scientist) together.” We have put too much trust in the god of science. “For the word of the Lord is right; and all his works are done in truth” (Psalms 33:4).
Job 42:5 says, “but now mine eye seeth thee (the Lord). We do not physically see God, but spiritually when we understand every verse of scripture: “but they that seek the Lord understand all things” (Proverbs 28:5).
THE LESSER LIGHT (Gen. 1:16)
(My opinion only - No one that believes in geocentricity accepts the following - comments for or against are welcome)
Isaiah 45:11,12 says, “Thus saith the LORD…Ask me of things…concerning the work of my hands command ye me. I have made the earth, and… I, even my hands, have stretched out the heavens…” The Lord would not have invited us to ask him what the size of the universe is if he was not going to tell us the answer. Ecc. 7:24 says, “That which is far off, and exceeding deep, who can find it out?” The only way to know some things is from scripture. 1 Timothy 2:7 says, “the Lord give thee understanding in all things.” `All things' includes the size of the universe. Isaiah 7:12 says, “Ask thee a sign of the Lord thy God; ask it either in the depth, or in the height above.” According to Ezekiel 14: 8, the word `sign' means “…a sign and a proverb…” A proverb expresses the truth. So we can `ask the truth from God concerning the height of the stars or distance from the earth to the stars. Isaiah 65:24 says, “…before they call, I will answer.” The Lord knew that we need to know the size of the universe and has given us the answer in scripture.
Jeremiah 33:3 says, “Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and shew thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not.” Job 13:22 says, “Then call thou, and I will answer: or let me speak, and answer thou me.” The application is: If we ask God the size of the universe, He will tell us the answer. Job 19:23, 24 says, “Oh that my words were now written! Oh that they were printed in a book! That they were graven with an iron pen and lead in the rock for ever!” God has indeed written and preserved the exact words we need.
In Genesis 1:1, God `the Word' came in spoken form (Psalms 33:6, 9). Then the Word came in human form, Jesus: “And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us” (John 1:14). Then, the `Word' just changed forms, coming in written form. Am I sure? Yes. After the resurrection “he (Jesus) hath said, I will never leave thee” (Heb 13:5). A minister wrote; the main theme of the Bible is Jesus. No, the main theme is the Word.
“Lo, I come (in the volume of the book, it is written of me,)” (Hebrews 10: 7). Even though there are 100 paraphrases, we do have the exact words God wants us to have in the King James Bible only. John 12:48 says, “…the word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the last day.” We can't be judged by “every word” (Matt. 4:4), if we don't have every word. In Old Testament times, they had absolutely every exact word. 1 Kings 8:56, 57 says, “Blessed be the Lord, that hath given rest unto his people Israel, according to all that he promised: there hath not failed one word…The Lord our God be with us… let him not leave us…” They had every word. Now, we still have absolutely every exact word. He kept his promise, he never left us.
Just as Jesus died he shouted with a loud voice. The Word left him and instantly returned to the earth by cutting the veil; “And the veil of the temple was rent in twain from the top to the bottom” (Mark 15: 38). The `Word' never left the earth. Supporting this is Isaiah 45:23 which says, “I have sworn by myself, the word is gone out of my mouth in righteousness, and shall not return.” Forty days later at Pentecost the Holy Spirit came to “guide you into all truth” (John 16:13). Then the `Word' came in written form. Now we are in the very presence of God containing not the image of God, but the Word of God. Only written words can come close to accurately communicating the nature of God.
Acts 27:25 says, “…for I believe God, that it shall be even as it was told me.” Most people believe in God, but it's a different thing altogether to believe God. The verse makes it clear that believing God simply means believing what He says. God does not speak to us audibly now as He did in the past, but He does speak far more comprehensively to us through His written word. We have even less excuse for unbelief than Paul.
Old Testament 'original' manuscripts were written is Hebrew. New Testament 'original' manuscripts were written is Greek. Matthew 8:17 (in Greek) is a translation of Isaiah 53:4 (Hebrew). Romans11:8 is a translation of Isaiah 29:10. The scribes did not have the first copy that Moses wrote. They had the scriptures! Timothy did not have David's original autograph of Psalms 2, but the scripture. There are over 50 translations in the New Testament of Old Testament Hebrew passages. "For what saith the scripture? Abraham believed God..." (Rom 4:3). Paul wrote both New Testament verses in Greek when he quotes the Old Testament, which is written in Hebrew. This means that a translation can be inspired. Job 33:16 says, “Then he…sealeth their instruction” We have the actual words God wants us to have in the King James Bible.

How far is the Voyager 1 rocket from the earth? The secular scientists write that it is 9.5 billion miles from the earth. It started out on a certain date at a known speed which equals a certain distance. How accurate is this? How far out does the Lord say the rocket is in scripture? “I will instruct thee…I will guide thee with mine eye (Psalms 32:8). Let's look through scripture instead of a telescope for final authority. Perhaps the Voyager rocket is no further out than 1 billion miles or less. How could this be? Wheels on a car turn at a certain speed on a highway and the car maintains a steady speed, but if the car drives into “quicksand” (Acts 27:17), the wheels spin at the same rate yet the car slows down.
“There are also celestial bodies and bodies terrestrial: but the glory of the celestial is one, and the glory of the terrestrial is another. There is one glory of the sun, and another glory of the moon, and another glory of the stars: for one star differeth from another star in glory” (1 Cor. 15:40, 41). If one star is different from another star, then most certainly terrestrial bodies are different from celestial bodies. Skipping to verse 48, “As is the earthy, such are they also that are earthy: and as is the heavenly, such are they also that are heavenly” Man made objects (earthy) are on the earth. But, “terrestrial,” in the context of the sun, moon and stars, shows that man made objects are also out in the universe.
The Lord has set the heavens to react differently to terrestrial bodies, such as Voyager 1 as well as radio signals, than a celestial body such as the sun, moon, stars and planets. Preposterous! Let's look at scripture. Luke 1:20 says, “…because thou believest not my words…” We need to take a lesson from Zechariah and learn to believe God can do anything He wants to do. We are dealing with the Lord who is very very very jealous of His word, which is made up of His words! Noah was told to build an ark in the dust when it had never rained.
Notice above what is called a galaxy. The “Great Nebula” is slightly down from the upper right hand corner. The constellation “Orion” is at the center on the bottom. In reality, the galaxy, Great Nebula, is a group of stars just like the Orion constellation.
After traveling a certain distance, the rocket encounters “the hoary frost of heaven” (Job 38:29). The farther the rocket goes into the `frost' the thicker and slicker it gets, thereby also decreasing the speed of the rocket. According to the calculator, the rocket has traveled, perhaps 100,000 miles in 10 days; when the truth is that it has traveled maybe
only 300 miles. The same is true also of radio signals even though radio signals travel
much faster than rockets. Their speed also decreases the farther out in space they travel. This applies to terrestrial objects only; rockets and radio signals. The hoary frost does not affect the speed of celestial objects; the sun, moon stars and planet. Psalms 115:16 says,
“The heaven, even the heavens, are the Lord's: but the earth hath he given to the children
of men.”
How far out are the furthermost stars? First, the words `solar system' are not found in scripture (see p. 17, HE MAKETH HIS SUN TO RISE by Thomas Strouse, Emmanuel Baptist Church, 296 New Britain Avenue, Newington, Connecticut 06111 : 860-666-1055). Neither is the word `galaxy.' Job 38: 31 says, “Canst thou bind the sweet influences of Pleiades, or loose the bands of Orion?” This describes the combination of stars into a constellation. Combinations of stars are constellations, not galaxies. Isaiah 13:10 says, “For the stars of heaven and the constellations thereof…the sun…and the moon” By including the words: stars, constellations and the moon in the same sentence, the author, the Holy Spirit is telling us again (1st time-Gen. 1:16) that the moon is the lesser light for the entire universe. Do galaxies really exist? The following is how they started according to the book of `Popular Science.' Immanuel Kant advanced the theory that the celestial objects observed as faint, hazy patches of light and called nebulae were really systems of stars. Later, many of the irregular, diffuse nebulae (such as the one in the constellation Orion) were composed, not of stars, but of extremely rarefied gas.
Where is the line at the end of the universe located? "And God made two great lights; the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night: he made the stars also” (Genesis 1:16, 17). By including “the stars,” the moon is the lesser light for the entire universe; the distance to “the uttermost part of the heaven” (Nehemiah 1: 9).
Notice that the earth is not mentioned at all on day four. Jupiter, 390 million miles from the earth, has 4 moons comparable in size to our moon. These moons are mere points of light as seen from the earth with binoculars. The speed of light is 186,000 miles per second. This speed times 60 seconds per minute times 30 minutes is about 350 million miles from the earth. With the earth at the center, the distance to the uttermost stars is, perhaps about 500-800 million miles. Are the heavens being measured? Jeremiah 31:37 says, “…If the heavens above can be measured…I will cast off all the seed of Israel for all that they have done” This will never happen. The heavens cannot be measured! But, are we measuring the heavens? No, not exactly.
What else do the scriptures say? The scriptures further explain or define what this means. Psalms 89:34-37 says, “My covenant will I not break, nor alter the thing that is gone out of my lips. Once have I sworn by my holiness that I will not lie unto David. His seed shall endure for ever, and his throne as the sun before me. It shall be established for ever as the moon, and as a faithful witness in heaven.” The seed of Israel and the seed of David are the same thing. The moon also is a witness to the distance of the outmost stars. The moon has something to say about the size of the universe. The Lord, the Holy Spirit, who guided us to all truth (John 16:13), and cannot lie, (vs. 35) will not alter what he has inspired to be written. If we miss the correct distance by millions of miles, we have not accurately measured anything; but we do have an approximate size, which is what we so very much need.
Where is the end located? On the earth, the temple is larger than the tabernacle. Therefore, in heaven the temple extends beyond the tabernacle. Psalms 19:4, 6 says, "…In them hath he set a tabernacle for the sun. His going forth is from the end of heaven, and his circuit unto the ends of it” The heat extends only to the end of the tabernacle. Psalms 43:3 says, “O send out thy light and thy truth…let them lead me…to thy tabernacles.” The light of God's Word leads us to the actual truth, the final answer, as to the distance to the outermost stars located at the end of the tabernacle. Rev. 7:15, 16 says, “and serve him day and night in his temple…neither shall the sun light on them, nor any heat." These 3 verses mark the line at the end of the universe.

The outermost stars are at the end of the tabernacle. Several scriptures also connect the tabernacle to the moon. How? Numbers 1:50, 53 says, “…the tabernacle of testimony…the tabernacle of testimony…keep the charge of the tabernacle of testimony…” Webster's 1828 Dictionary says that testimony means witness or proof of some fact and the moon is “a faithful witness in heaven” (Psalms 89:37). So the moon is also connected to the tabernacle. The moon is telling us the approximate distance to the “uttermost part of heaven” (Mark 13:27), where the most distant stars are located. The moon is telling us the approximate size of the universe. The Lord through his word has told us the ballpark size of the universe. This is information that we desperately need to have.
Rev. 8: 1 "…there was silence in heaven about the space of half an hour." Sometimes the meanings to words change. The 1828 Webster's Dictionary gets back to the meaning 400 years ago and in it `silence' means `stop.' This means heaven, which had revolved around the earth since the beginning, stopped rotating. The Lord now tells us how long light from stars took to be seen on the earth; one half an hour on day four! The speed of light is 186,000 miles per second. This times 30 minutes is about 350 million miles from the earth. The text says “about.” The moons close to Jupiter are 390 million miles, so this fits with scripture. Job 29: 21 says, “Unto me men gave ear and waited, and kept silence at my counsel.” The Lord has given the approximate size of the universe.
Isaiah 55:8, 9 says, “For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the Lord. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.” All physical knowledge of the universe must be subjugated to the Bible. Only scripture can tell us the actual truth as to the distance to the stars. Psalms 92:5 says, “O Lord how great are thy works! and thy thoughts are very deep.” The thoughts of God became His words, where He tells us what He did. To really know the distance to the far end of the universe, we need to understand and correctly apply every word. There are 773,693 words in the King James Version. We cannot afford to ignore or bypass any word; a daunting task.
Rev. 3:18 is directed toward the Laodicea, lukewarm church and says, “…annoit thine eyes, with eyesalve, that thou mayest see.” This is not written to those outside the church, but to those inside. The point is for Christians to use and apply all scripture, every phrase and every word. Colossians 2:1, 2 says, “…for them at Laodicea, and for as many as have not seen my face in the flesh…and unto all riches of the full assurance of understanding to the acknowledgement of the mystery of God, and of the Father, and of Christ.” To see accurately, we must understand every word.
1 Peter 2:8 says, “A stone of stumbling…even to them which stumble at the word…” When we ignore or fail to correctly apply scripture, we stumble at the words of God. Psalms 33:13, 15 says, “The Lord looketh from heaven; he beholdeth all the sons of men…he considereth all their works.” God is well aware of radio signals and rockets going into the universe. “Because they regard not the works of the Lord, nor the operation of his hands…” (Psalms 28:5).
In the future we know: “That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven” (Phil.2:10). It is also true, even right now, that all physical objects and forces are subjugated to the words of God. Everything physical must submit to scripture. Why? We are dealing with God, who is very good at creating miracles and at the same time, very jealous of his word. “His word was in mine heart as a burning fire…” (Jeremiah 20:9). We have to deal with and correctly apply every word and phrase. “For the Lord thy God is a consuming fire, even a jealous God” (Deut. 4:24). It is much better to be refined with the fire of God's words now while He is near.

Psalms 103:22 says, “Bless the Lord, all his works in all places of his dominion…” His dominion includes outer space and the “hoary frost of heaven” (Job 38:29). There are all too many phrases `supposedly' with no meaning; “they have made void thy law.” (Psalms 119:126). Psalms 119:33 says, “Teach me, O Lord, the way of thy statutes; and I shall keep it unto the end.” God's words tell us the real truth.
Psalms 119:18 says, “Open thou mine eyes, that I may behold wondrous things out of thy law.” Psalms 75: 1 says, “for that thy name is near thy wondrous works declare.” God's name represents God himself. God's works, which are his `shields' and `stones,' show that the stars are relatively close.
“The line of confusion” (Isaiah 34:11) line marks the end of the universe. Are the outermost stars millions of light years away or are they about 9 to 12 light hours from the earth as God's word, which is eternal (John 1:1), says? When rockets and radio signals get a certain distance from the earth they encounter “…the stones of emptiness” (Isaiah 34:1l) and “…the body of heaven in his clearness” (Exodus 24:10) which slow down their speed.
Psalms 115:16 says, “The heaven, even the heavens, are the Lord's: but the earth hath he given to the children of men.” On the earth and into the “open firmament,” the first heaven, the atmospheric heaven and up to the stationary satellites: bullets, rockets, TV and radio signals; all travel at a known speed. The speed is measured precisely and accurately. However, in the second heaven everything physical enters the realm of God and is subject to God's word. This territory is known only by the Lord. All physical forces and objects must submit to scripture. We examine things on the earth, but it is quite a different problem in the heavens. Scientist can see clearly with either a microscope or telescope. When using a microscope on the earth, the distance to the object is perhaps 6 inches. The distance to a star is not so easy when looking through a telescope into outer space. It is God's realm. God's word is the final authority; especially in heavens, not the imaginations of scientists using a telescope. There, scripture is the final authority.
Colossians 2:2, 3 says, “…and of Christ; In whom are hid all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge.” Jesus knew the size of the universe and told the disciples the distance to the stars. When Jesus left, the word, which was in Christ, was then transferred to scripture and it now tells us the size of the universe.
Deut 30: 11, 12, 14 says, “For this commandment (the word of God which is the actual words of God) which I command thee this day…neither is it far off…Who shall go up for us to heaven, and bring it unto us… But thy word is very nigh unto thee, in thy mouth” Rom 10:6, 8 says, “Who shall ascend into heaven? (that is, to bring Christ down from above:)…The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart” Notice that the question is: who will ascend into heaven and bring both the Word and Christ down to us. Notice that the Word and Christ are interchangeable. They are both equal. This means that we have the same as Christ right now in the King James scripture
2 Cor. 10:5 says, “Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalted itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ.” Scientist imagine that the stars are millions of light years in the distance; not considering what scripture says. Jeremiah 23:16, 17 says, “Thus saith the Lord of hosts, Hearken not unto the words of the prophets that prophesy unto you…they speak a vision of their own heart, and not out of the mouth of the Lord. They say…unto everyone that walketh after the imagination of his own heart, No evil shall come upon you.” There are no millions of years going backwards to the beginning and neither are there million of light years going upwards to the outermost stars.
The following is talking about Israel, but it also has an application. Psalms 78:56, 58 says, “Yet they tempted and provoked the most high God… For they provoked him to anger with their high places.” Scientist say the stars are millions of light years away, but God, who controls the heavens, knows the stars are at most, only about 12 light hours away. We now know the distance to the stars which we have to know to completely refute the theory evolution 100% instead of only 99%..
Apart from the true story of Joseph and his brothers in Genesis 37: 8-10, scripture has more information about the universe. The word `eleven' ties what happens to the brothers to what happens to the stars. Scripture clearly indicates geocentricity in Genesis 1: 1-19. The next major proof of the geocentric universe comes in Genesis 37 which says, “dominion over… words…and, behold, the sun and the moon and the eleven stars made obeisance … to the earth?” The subject is God's actual words having the final authority; “the certainty of the words of truth” (Proverbs 22:21). God's words, as revealed in scripture, have dominion over the speculations of scientists. The sun, moon and stars each have there own individual orbit inside the firmament which is revolving daily around the earth; the sun, moon and stars continue, even now, to make obeisance to the earth.
Prudence differs from wisdom is that prudence implies more caution than wisdom.
Proverbs 8: 8 - 12 says, “All the words of my mouth are in righteousness, there is nothing forward or perverse in them. They are all plain to him that understandeth, and right to them that find knowledge. Receive my instruction, and not silver; and knowledge rather than choice gold. For wisdom is better than rubies; and all the things that may be desired are not to be compared to it. I wisdom dwell with prudence, and find out knowledge of witty inventions.” We need to use extra caution when deciding to go against the wisdom of the Lord as revealed in scripture. “Yet a small number…shall know whose words shall stand, mine or theirs” (Jeremiah 44:28); God's words or the false words of scientist. We now have “perfect understanding of all things" (Luke 1:3) and “know all things” (1 John 2:20), just as God wants to have.
Proverbs 22:20 says, “Have not I written to thee excellent things in counsels and knowledge.” The first day of creation (Genesis 1:1-5) clearly shows geocentricity. Now we can easily “approve things that are excellent” (Philippians 1:10). God's word in Genesis 1:1- 19 is excellent, especially so because this was before sin entered the world in Genesis 3:1. The 1828 Webster's Dictionary says; approve means to prove, to show to be true and to prove by trial. The physical evidence proves geocentricity and the spiritual evidence in the King James Bible proves a relatively small universe. The spiritual evidence is “spiritually discerned” (1 Cor. 2: 14) which means to see or understand the difference between two or more “things not seen” (Heb. 11: 1).
